Meet Noodle.
Noodle was brought in to the shelter with injuries to his hind limbs and tail, most likely from being struck by a car. Although he could stand, his tail was completely limp and he was fecal incontinent - which likely meant a break somewhere in his spine. He was rushed to Firehouse Animal Health Center in Leander, where x-rays were taken to determine the extent of the injury.
After review, it was determined that little Noodle could live a long and healthy life as a diaper cat; he just needed his tail to be amputated and then to be fitted with diapers and he’d be ready for his forever home!
After the amputation and weeks of recovery, sweet Noodle went home to Blue Moon Sanctuary, where he is living his best life.
Noodle’s total bill was $752.89
