Ariana Delbar, President

Ariana brings over 15 years of administrative and marketing experience to the Critical Kitten Care Fund team. Her true passion, however, is animal welfare, and she has been a volunteer and kitten foster since 2006. She has personally fostered over 400 cats and kittens (and only kept 3!), photographed hundreds more for their adoption bios, and chaired the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter Fundraising Committee. She is also a Petco Adoption Ambassador. When she isn't spending time with her foster kittens, she enjoys complicated board games, reading, hockey (go Stars!), and hanging out on her catio with her husband, Vincent, and her five personal cats: Beowulf, Perseus, Chomper, Niko and Irina. You can find her on Instagram at @the_itty_bitty_kitty_committee

Megyn Scott-Hintz, Secretary & Intake Coordinator

Megyn Scott-Hintz brings 14 years of neonatal kitten foster experience to the team. She grew up with a household full of various animals, but it wasn’t until she found a kitten on her aunt’s ranch that Megyn fell in love with cats. With her love of animals, Megyn took every animal behavior course offered by her university and received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Besides her degree emphasizing animal behavior, she brings over a decade of animal welfare experience. She’s worn many hats between working for the Jane Goodall Institute’s ChimpanZoo program to being a humane educator at a shelter to consulting for cat behavior cases to being the Kitten Care Specialist for the 2020 kitten season at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. When not immersed in everything cat, Megyn enjoys hiking, comedy, and living room dance parties with her spouse and kids. You can find her on most social media platforms @kittenkonnoisseur.

Brittney Cavalli, Treasurer

Brittney brings nearly 10 years of nonprofit accounting experience to the Critical Kitten Care Fund team. She has always had a soft spot for animals and would house a thousand dogs if she could - sadly, her husband Alex is opposed to this notion. For Brittney, not much beats a cold rainy Saturday morning cuddled up on the couch with coffee and her two pups, Tucker and Emma. She also enjoys interior design and is a Redfin addict, always looking for the next project, and she and Alex enjoy traveling the world and spending as much time as they can in the mountains. You can find her on Instagram at @brittneycavalli where you will mostly find pictures of her favorite places and her pups!

Adriana Mendoza, D.V.M.

Adriana is the medical director at Firehouse Animal Health Center in Leander. She grew up in a home that always had animals. When she was three years old her mom found their first cat, a black and white tuxedo, who she got to name Figaro after the cat in Pinocchio. Figaro was just the first of many cats who she got to grow up with and love during her childhood. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and completed a small animal surgical and medicine internship the year after at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. After completing the internship, she knew that she did not see herself specializing in just one discipline and was ready to start her career in general practice. She truly loves being a veterinarian and cannot see herself doing anything else. While she loves both cats and dogs, she has a special place in her heart for her feline patients. She has six of her own cats but has fostered numerous cats and kittens for over 20 years. In addition to the feline part of her family, she shares a home with her husband, two children (with one on the way due in December) and two dogs. It's always a busy, bustling home but she would not have it any other way!
