Our 2021 Success Stories
Meet Dolly.
Dolly came into the shelter with a severe upper respiratory infection. Barely able to breathe, she was rushed to the emergency vet for x-rays, oxygen therapy, and IV fluids.
Meet Sasha Fierce.
Sasha Fierce was surrendered to the shelter with incontinence due to Manx syndrome and horrendous skin scalding from neglect. She required weeks of hydrotherapy and anti-bacterial cream to heal her wounds.
Meet Shrek.
This sweet boy was surrendered to the shelter as a tiny bottle baby with a terrible upper respiratory infection. Only aggressive treatment saved his eyesight.
Meet Apollo.
This young man was suffering from severe constipation along with congenital issues and needed specialty care.
Meet Cera.
She experienced multiple seizures and was rushed to the emergency vet, where they worked to bring down her very high fever and get her on the road to recovery.

Struggling with pneumonia, she required oxygen and heat support along with an aggressive medical regime to ensure she could fight.
Meet Seymour.
Seymour was brought into the shelter after being found alone in a shed. His pneumonia had progressed to the point where he couldn’t even sleep as he had to concentrate all his energy on drawing in the next breath.
Meet Noodle.
This little guy was brought to the shelter after being hit by a car and suffering from an injury that required a tail amputation.
Meet Alexander.
He was fading fast at the shelter - skin and bones, he could barely move, much less eat. A trip to the emergency room got him back on the right track.
Meet Brooke.
She had a broken tail and horrible infection and needed immediate care at the emergency vet.

This manx trio had potential incontinence issues and needed specialty imaging.
Meet Fiona.
This tiny bottle baby was brought in with a URI and needed some extra help to heal.
Meet Maddie.
Maddie arrived at the shelter with serious injuries to her paw, including a degloved toe that eventually required amputation.
Meet Gideon.
Gideon was fading fast when he was brought into the shelter - he was covered in burrs and so cold that his temperature didn’t even register on the thermometer. His tongue was covered in ulcers and he was suffering from anemia from fleas, and was rushed to the emergency vet for a 5-day stay.
Meet Moo.
Moo came in extremely emaciated along with an upper respiratory infection and needed oxygen and heat support. A visit to the vet and a stay in an incubator helped him on his way.
Meet Irina.
Irina was only a few weeks old with severe neurological issues when she was surrendered to the shelter. Although euthanasia was discussed, ultimately it was decided to give her a chance with an aggressive treatment regime.

This tiny gal needed some specialty imaging and high-calorie food to get her growing!

Emaciated and suffering from severe diarrhea, Jude was separated from his much healthier siblings for intensive one-on-one care and monitoring.
