Meet Shrek.

Shrek was surrendered to the shelter with his sister Fiona - both were tiny bottle babies with upper respiratory infections, but his was much worse. He had had the URI long enough for it to infect his eyes as well, and they were swollen and inflamed and in dire need of aggressive treatment in order to save them both.

Under the care of CKCF, he visited Firehouse Animal Health Center in Leander where he was given eye drops as well as serum and antibiotics to combat the URI. In a matter of days his eyes were clear and bright and the swelling was down. With the aggressive treatment paid for by CKCF, we were able to save his eyes and get him back to full health. He is now in his forever home.

Shrek’s total bill was $345.99.
